How can you live a life of peace and contentment with so many stressful challenges?
Peace is an attitude of the heart rather than a condition based on circumstances.
When there are things that you can do nothing about, determine to turn them over to God. His ways and thoughts are much higher than our own. You might also need to lighten up on people and your expectations of them.
No one is perfect, and expecting them to be can create a great deal of stress in your life. As you exhibit grace, you will find gracefulness and contentment in your relationships. Create a mental plan for unexpected problem that arise. That plan could be focusing on a specific scripture such as Phil 4:8. Remember that God is able to work in the situation without your help.
Ask God to give to wisdom about taking action or sitting still for any given situation. Trust God’s timetable. When you do, the peace and contentment will meet you there… God bless everyone.
